Part of Nicholas Nesbitt’s itinerary in the US was speaking engagements in various prestigious universities including Boston University's Institute for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan school of Management. He had interactive discussions with 30-50 students about ‘Leading change in a Developing Market’. He shared his views about outsourcing specifically in Kenya, how to start up a business in a growing economy, and some of the challenges faced in the implementation processes.
Mr. Nesbitt also met with various professors from the universities who have done work in Africa, particularly in Kenya and they are also doing a case study about KenCall. The professors will give MIT students a chance to visit KenCall and see how its operations are run.
